Wherever Billy Joel's daughters go, he will never be far away.
The "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" singer ended his historic residency at Madison Square Garden July 25 after 150 performances over 10 years, and he was lucky enough to have two special guests at his side: daughters Della, 8, and Remy, 6.
The girls—whom he shares with wife Alexis Roderick—wore matching pink, purple, red and white striped dresses as they joined their dad on stage while Jimmy Fallon presented him with a banner for "Most Lifetime Performances By Any Artist."
"You also have a lot of fans here tonight," Jimmy said from the stage before presenting Della and Remy, "but you have two really cute fans that want to come over and say, '[Congratulations], Daddy.'"
The crowd went wild as the Tonight Show host added, "Give it up for Billy Joel everybody. Raise the banner!"
And of course, being the daughters of an iconic singer like Billy meant they had to join their dad for one song, sitting with him at the piano as he launched into his 1978 hit, "My Life."
But Della wasn't content to just sit by her dad. Instead, she took to center stage, singing and dancing as her father looked on in awe. As one fan wrote on TikTok, "@Billy Joel daughter is main character energy and has the confidence we all need."
After the song, Della and Remy gave their dad a kiss as they left the stage, but not before Della took to the mic with, "Thank you, Madison Square Garden."
Even Billy—who also shares daughter Alexa, 38, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley— was impressed by her, joking that he was going to have trouble following that.
"I guess it's her life now," he quipped. "Thanks, girls."
The "Vienna" singer recently talked about what life is like as an older dad and how he appreciates the time he has with his girls.
"I love hanging out with my children," he told the Los Angeles Times in 2023. "They're so much fun and so interesting to me. I get to be a stay-at-home dad. That's how I enjoy my life these days."
